Young at Heart

Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

Young at Heart is a special time of fellowship for our senior saints. We have devotion time, sing, play games and share our testimonies, prayers and blessings. We are often entertained by talented members of our Young at Heart group as well as Vandalian Christian School students and members from our church. Our meeting ends with a delicious meal prepared and served by some young ladies and men from VBC.

Young at Heart takes several day trips and a few over night trips each year. Some of our day trips have been to: Sword of Peace Drama, Shatley Springs, Boone, NC State Fair, The Cheese Factory, The Fruit Cake Factory, Carolina Opry at Myrtle Beach and Christmas at Castle McCulloch.

This year we will also be going to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to see the Sight and Sound production “Noah”.

Young at Heart meets the second Monday of each month in the Vandalia Baptist Church fireplace room. Join us for a special time of fellowship and blessings.
